Background:

St Peter's RC High School is a young and exciting school with tremendous potential. Bishop Brain formally opened the doors of its new Catholic high school building on 26 March 2003. The building alone is an investment in excess of 10 million pounds. All its pupils have the exclusive use of the Belle Vue Commonwealth Games sports facilities which include a new double sports hall and two all weather floodlit pitches. The ground floor has the theatre, library, dance studio, dining room, technology rooms and reception. The first floor accommodates science, learning support, mathematics, ICT and staff rooms, while on the top floor there are classrooms and offices. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, cricket, athletics, rounders, gymnastics, dance, volleyball, badminton and outdoor education. The school aims to provide a friendly, secure and stimulating Christian environment in which to learn.
