Failsworth School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. The school has well-equipped facilities and state-of-the art resources to support learning and provide students with a wide range of opportunities. The school provides sports facilities including a community sports centre, a fitness suite and cricket lanes. It also has a sports hall, gymnasium, swimming pool, synthetic pitch, floodlit tennis courts, 22 acres playing field and a community leisure centre. The school has two learning resource centre, IT business suite, 10 science laboratories, a mathematics room and a technology room to enhance learning opportunities. It provides a very wide range of sports opportunities. The school also provides out-of-hours facilities including netball, table tennis, tennis, dance, athletics, football, trampoline, hockey, rounders, rugby and basketball.
