Failsworth School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. The school has well-equipped facilities and state-of-the art resources to support learning and provide students with a wide range of opportunities. The school provides sports facilities including a community sports centre, a fitness suite and cricket lanes. It also has a sports hall, gymnasium, swimming pool, synthetic pitch, floodlit tennis courts, 22 acres playing field and a community leisure centre. The school has two learning resource centre, IT business suite, 10 science laboratories, a mathematics room and a technology room to enhance learning opportunities. It provides a very wide range of sports opportunities. The school also provides out-of-hours facilities including netball, table tennis, tennis, dance, athletics, football, trampoline, hockey, rounders, rugby and basketball. The school aims to provide quality education and every member of staff is committed to preparing its young people for the challenges of modern world.
