Background:
Founded in 1994 in the city of Salford, the school takes a mixture of children from a mixture of private and council homes. It became a Beacon school in 2000 and gives great emphasis to literacy an numeracy. Parents and children are both closely involved in learning and the setting of targets. A wide range of after-school clubs is available to pupils and the school has been involved in two productions at Lowry Thetre. All classes have teaching assistants and it is proud that it is a 'highly inclusive school.
